Peony roses
These spring blooms are among the most recognisable of all wedding flowers. In shades of white, pink and cream, an arrangement built around peonies can be designed to complement your colour scheme or your outfits. It is no surprise that peony roses are such a favourite with brides-to-be: they make an impression at any spring or summer wedding.

Arguably the world's most iconic flower, and what would a wedding be without a rose or two in sight? As a timeless classic, roses suit any theme and any colour scheme. A single rose with a little greenery makes a perfect buttonhole for the groomsmen, or an elegant corsage for the bridesmaids. And for the day itself, a romantic bouquet of a dozen red roses is hard to improve on.
Lilies

Dahlias

Anemones
A modern favourite, anemones are a delicate flower that makes a beautiful bridal bouquet. Their thin petals and dark centres give them a contemporary look. They do not cope well with heat, so for an outdoor summer wedding, make sure your florist has water-picked the stems. Often used as an accent, anemones on their own make a stunning bouquet.
